AT KPI, CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON THE FIRST SMART SHELTER FOR STUDENTS, CLUST SPACE

07.07.2023

The company CLUST has announced the start of active construction of the first smart shelter for students in Ukraine. The CLUST SPACE will be built on the premises of the Scientific and Technical Library at Igor Sikorsky KPI.

As a reminder, the founder of the venture builder CLUST, Ruslan Tymofieiev, presented the idea of building an innovative shelter for students in October 2023 at the Sikorsky Challenge. Since then, the CLUST team has been searching for partners and funding to implement the project.

Architect Pavlo Peker meticulously developed the design project for CLUST SPACE from the Peker&Partners studio, which had extensive experience implementing similar security solutions in Iraq and Libya. During the design process, Pavlo consulted with representatives of the State Emergency Service (SES) and took into account all safety requirements, ensuring the highest level of safety for the students.

The construction works are planned to be completed by the end of 2023, but it is noted that the deadlines may change in case of shelling of energy infrastructure and blackouts.
